‘The Banksia Bunch’ is a vibrant artwork, that aims to capture the beauty of Banksia pods collected on the shoreline of the Shoalhaven river. I feel a deep connection to Banksias, as I remember collecting them with my family as a child and I now collect them with my own children. I feel as though we ourselves are a Banksia bunch, growing up and thriving down by the river.
