‘Stand Tall’ is a vibrant artwork inspired by the natural beauty and rich colurs of Protea flowers. Painted at the same time as ‘We all Need Someone to Love’, ‘Stand Tall’ was painted, after visting a local heritage garden whilst the Proteas were flowering. I loved the way the flowers appeared to stand tall and proud, as if celebrating their beauty.  it reminded me that we all need to find the strength to stand tall and be proud of our own unique journeys.
